At the age of 12 Terry went on his first 10-day canoe trip in Algonquin Park. His first few days had its fair share of storms, curious bears, and grumbling, but by the time he reached the middle of the park his sense of resilience sky-rocketed. The still wilderness changed Terry's life forever, and he said to himself "I'm going to bring people back here some day".
